Mud Hens fans,

Mud Hens baseball has been a part of Toledo for more than 100 years. Generations of families and friends have been coming to the ballpark to share experiences, make memories and root, root, root for the Mud Hens. We have always treasured and looked forward to the time you spend with us at Fifth Third Field. Now during this unprecedented time in our country, the health and safety of all our Mud Hens fans, staff and empoloyees is our top priority as an organization.

Last week Minor League Baseball made the decision to delay the start of the season in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This is a rapidly evolving situation that we take very seriously.

We are continually monitoring the developments. We are taking direction and guidance from our local, state and federal agencies and organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, along with our partners at Minor League Baseball, Major League Baseball and Detroit Tigers.

We look forward to the day when the smell of hot dogs and the shout of 'play ball' are in the air. For now, we will continue the process of preparing for your safe return to Fifth Third Field. Once we know more about Opening Day and potential dates for our season, we will share that with you. If you already have tickets for a 2020 Mud Hens game, hold onto them, we will be working with you as information becomes available.

We will continue to update our website and social media channels. If you have questions, please reach out to the Mud Hens at 419-725-4367 or through Facebook or Twitter. Until then, be safe, be kind and healthy.
